According to the Los Angeles Daily News, Police are seeking a suspected hit-and-run driver that struck a pedestrian and left her in critical condition in the Encino area on Saturday night, October 13, 2018. The crash occurred at around 11:50 P.M. on Ventura Boulevard, just east of Louise Avenue, right near the famed Encino Commons. Reports indicate that a woman in her thirties was crossing the street when she was struck by what witnesses describe as a 1996 to early 2000s silver Toyota 4-Runner. The driver of the vehicle did not stop or return to help the victim. Emergency services took the young lady who was in critical condition to the hospital.
