According to the SFV Media and the San Fernando Valley Crime Report, a man was killed on July 22, 2018 when the SUV he was in was broadsided by a 2009 BMW that was racing down the street at approximately 90 mph on Central Avenue in South Los Angeles. As a result of the accident a women was also critically injured. The driver of the BMW continued to go southbound where he crashed into two other vehicles. The injured parties were taken to USC Medical Center, where the women was listed in critical condition and the man was pronounced dead.
