According to CBS News, two people were killed on Monday July 16, 2018 due to a fiery car crash. The crash which occurred on the Northbound lanes of the 605 Freeway near Rosecrans Ave, in the city of Norwalk, CA, involved two cars which carried a total of seven people. One man was arrested for what appeared to be a possible DUI.
Police stated that a sedan rear-ended a minivan, causing the minivan to spin out of control and causing it to face the wrong direction. The two people that were killed were inside of the minivan. As a result of the accident, three other individuals were hospitalized. One of whom was a child in critical condition.
The Infiniti driver was given a field sobriety test prior to being arrested on the suspicion of a DUI. The Infiniti driver was also found to be uninjured.
